Applications
FF2© Façade Cladding is suitable for apartment buildings, airport terminals, hospitals, conference halls and shopping centres.
Features
FF2© shows its strength with complex architectural elements such as curves, arc, edges or overhanging ceiling constructions.
It can be bonded, screw-connected or riveted with ease and can also be edged, rounded and drilled without the coating chipping or cracking.
FF2© meets the highest quality and safety standards in terms of alloying, coating and mechanical strength.
Options
FF2© is available in virtually every colour tone, in a plain or metallic finish.
FF2© PLUS is suitable where a high level of insulation against structure borne noise and /or enhanced levels of insulation against air borne noise is required.
Compressed Fibro Cement - CFC
The Axolotl Smartfix™ Facade System is a concealed fixed system with expressed Joints. Created with 9mm HardiPanel Compressed and coated with Vitrethane, to produce a durable, high quality, ceramic-like finish.
The Versatility of the System allows seamless integration of new and existing building elements.
In 9mm CFC, panels are available in any sizes up to a maximum of 1200 x 3000 mm. Standard Panels are also available to minimise wastage.

Panel layout
Panels are generally installed with a 13 mm nominal expressed joints between adjacent panels
Framing
Cladding panels are installed to structural substrate with 75 x 38 x 1.2 mm Zincalume top hat sections. Top hat fixing to structural substrate to engineers details.

General
Ensure all conditions and requirements are fully adhered to for the project specific requirements and the like, warranties, quality assurance and approvals. Sample colour to be approved Architect prior to manufacturing of Axolotl Smartfix facade panels.
Axolotl Smartfix Extrusions
Aluminium Extrusions as supplied by Axolotl Smartfix are fully tested and to fit Computerised Grooved HardiPanelTM Compressed and grooved to required tolerances as recommended by Axolotl Smartfix.
Axolotl Smartfix Facade System Coating
Specialist Coating Application by A&I Coatings. Coating to AS 2700 in the nominated colour.
Axolotl Smartfix Panel
High quality autoclaved, double faced cement based building board as manufactured by James Hardie Building Products. Basic composition is Portland Cement, ground Sand, cellulose fibre and water all to conform to AS 2908.2 Cellulose Cement Products. Thickness 9mm and 12mm.

Installation
Installation shall be carried out by a recommended Smartfix™ contractor. All materials shall be stored above ground, laid flatand avoid stacking on edge and dragging.

Product Description
Alcan prepainted aluminium ff2 and ff2 plus are semi - finished aluminium products in strip or panel for which have been coil-coated with high -quality PVDf (polyvinyl fluoride) paints. Alloys, mechanical properties and coating materials have been carefully geared to the needs of face cladding.
