CURVED & BENT GLASS

Axolotl Glass is capable of curved panels of glass where the perpendicular height of the drop does not exceed 200mm and the overall panel dimensions are less than or equal to 2500mm long and 1000mm wide.

Normally the texture is to the inside of the curve, but texture can be applied to the outside of the curve when fired twice. A full-scale timber template or nominated radius of the inside edge of the curve is required prior to manufacture.

Note that bent panels cannot be toughened and do not comply with the Standards in applications where Safety Glass is required. Generally bent panels are used for lighting or fully framed commercial applications.

Shaped Glass

Axolotl Glass can achieve most shaped flat panels of glass provided a 1:1 full size timber template is supplied with all work in glass indicated.
