Axolotl’s scope
Create Corymbia as a hand-built guesthouse and personal exploration of materials and craft.
Materials and processes
Adobe mud-bricks sourced from the property, carpentry and a collection of artworks.
The challenge and response
The house was built over five years into the rocks at the high end of the 100-acre site. Materials from the property and carefully made details connect the building with its eucalypt setting.
